But how do we actually come up with new products? What does the process look like behind the scenes?

🔥 1. Inspiration Starts With Real Life

New ideas often spark from the everyday moments:

• A customer asks for something we’ve never made before

• We see a logo or design trend worth exploring

• Todd brings in a wild "what if…" idea (the best kind!)

• We spot a new material or color finish our machines can work with

• Seasonal or local events inspire themed designs

Instead of waiting for inspiration, we hunt for it. We keep a running list of ideas—big, small, experimental, and everything in between.

🎨 2. We Experiment With Materials and Machines

This is where things get fun.

Because we use professional-grade equipment like DTF printers, UV DTF, the Roland LG-640, and our CO₂ laser, we can test designs on:

• Apparel

• Tumblers

• Metal signs

• Acrylic layers

• Wood panels

• Leatherette patches

• Stickers, decals, & wraps

We’ll print, engrave, peel, cure, bend, heat, and push every material until we find something unique that feels different.

If we wouldn’t proudly wear it, display it, or gift it ourselves… we don’t sell it.

💡 3. We Prototype, Adjust, and Perfect

Every new product goes through a trial phase:

• We test color accuracy

• Adjust print settings, curing profiles, or engraving depth

• Compare gloss vs matte finishes

• Test durability (scratch tests, wash tests, bending, heat, etc.)

• Try out different sizes, variations, and colorways

Sometimes the first prototype turns out perfect.
Sometimes it takes five variations.
Sometimes it transforms into something even better than we imagined.
